On 27 October - 05 November 2006 (Port: Old Jetty)
MV Doulos was built in 1914, it's two years younger than Titanic. During the last 29 years, the Doulos has visited over 100 countries and has welcomed over 18 million visitors onboard.
Doulos brought us 3 different events, Open Day, International Night, Book Fair.
Open Day: Experience a family afternoon onboard the world's oldest ocean-going passengers ship. Enjoy the international atmosphere from people coming from more then 40 different nationalities. Enjoy clowns, national customes, culture displays, and learn about the work of the Doulos.
International Night: The world comes to you! This night events performed by International Doulos crew. Take a journey of discovery as you enjoy the music, drama, customes and cultural dances from countries around the world.
Book Fair: The Doulos carries a stock of half a million books, which are for sale. The 6000 titles cover 4wide rang of subjects such as science, education, cookery, technology, dictionary, sport, religion and children's books.
In the meanwhile, I even got only two kind of books from the rang, Answer For Marriage, and Faith For Lifetime. Honestly, one of these I gave to a friend of mine after few months. I'd love it, it looks glamorous.
Unexpectedly, on the trail of the ship I could found so many books. Those books I spent only five hundreds unite. It's equal five busks. Such as:
- Turnstones 1 & 2
- Périscope 1 & 3
- Bonvoyage!1A&3
- English Practical Guide To Literature
- One Hundred Exercise in English Usage
- Essential Word Processing Applications "Job-Based Tasks"
- Step by Step "Non-Verbal Reasoning"
- Science Scope "Physics" Teacher's Guide
- Microsoft "Word Perfect"
